About Us

A simple idea, grown into a full textile platform

AIRLOOM was created around a simple idea: comfort textiles should feel refined, perform consistently, and be supplied with the same discipline as any critical product category. What began with pillows, blankets, and soft goods developed for travel and premium service environments has grown into a wider textile platform serving both hospitality and aviation.

Built on a closed, fully integrated supply chain in Egypt, AIRLOOM brings together development, manufacturing, finishing, and delivery within one coordinated production ecosystem. This structure allows for stronger cost efficiency, shorter lead times, tighter quality control, and greater flexibility across materials, specifications, and branding requirements. Supported by Egypt’s textile heritage, large-scale manufacturing base, and strategic export position, AIRLOOM offers a dependable platform for clients seeking well-made products, responsive execution, and long-term supply consistency. It also allows for more sustainable product routes, including recycled polyester options and selected recovery-and-recycling programs for used comfort textiles.

Supply Chain

From raw material to finished product

AIRLOOM operates through two main raw-material routes — cotton and polyester — which begin differently, then come together within one integrated manufacturing operation in Egypt.

  1. 01

    Raw material route

Two main raw-material routes, each starting differently before converging into the same integrated manufacturing operation in Egypt.

    • CottonCleaned, prepared, and spun into yarn before moving into the appropriate fabric-production facility.
    • PolyesterBegins at polymer stage and is converted into either filament or staple, depending on the product requirement.
  2. 02

    Fabric production

From there, materials move into the relevant specialized facility within the same supply chain:

    • Woven facilityFor woven pillow covers, duvet shells, woven blankets, bed linen, and other woven products.
    • Circular knitting / fleece facilityFor fleece blankets and knitted comfort textiles.
    • Non-woven facilityFor headrest covers and other non-woven applications.
  3. 03

    Dyeing & finishing

Produced fabrics then move into dedicated dyeing and finishing facilities within the same manufacturing platform, where color, hand-feel, and performance specifications are applied.

  4. 04

    Confection & product assembly

Finished fabrics move into dedicated confection facilities for cutting, sewing, quilting, filling, labeling, and packing into final products.

  5. 05

    Quality control & delivery

All finished goods pass through inspection, packing, and export preparation within the same integrated operation, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and dependable delivery.
